<p>Chase Iron Eyes is owner of lastrealindians.com, an attorney, writer, and speaker. His writings have been featured on the major Native American online and in print news sources. Chase has given many public addresses to a variety of audiences inspiring Native youth and furthering his practice. He is an advocate of Indigenous rights and spiritual dignity. Chase has long been a voice for the movement to end the practice of using Indians as mascots/nicknames. Chase has also advocated for the protection of sacred sites, including Bear Butte (held sacred by several Indian Nations) in the Black Hills near Sturgis, South Dakota.Chase was raised on the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation in the Northern Plains(United States). He studied Political Science and American Indian Studies at the University of North Dakota and earned his law degree at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Chase is licensed to practice law in the State of South Dakota and federal courts of North and South Dakota. Chase has recently been selected to join cohort #3 of the Bush Foundation's Native Nation Rebuilder Program.</p>
