Just a dude with a shovel

I graduated from the University of Florida, achieving a major in History and a minor on Organic Crop Production in 2008. I'm interested in creating sustainable food systems using policy, design, social services, and community organizing. I first volunteered for FOG four years ago and have now been working for FOG on a variety of projects for the past three years. I helped initiate the Alachua County Farmers Market EBT Project and cofounded the urban gardening network Grow Gainesville. Currently I oversee the Gainesville Initiative for Tasty Gardens, and manage the Downtown Farmers Garden

For questions about our GIFT Gardens program, gardening classes, or organic gardening in general, please contact me at travis@foginfo.org or call 352-377-6345.
