A national disgrace is what it is.

The story I talk about at the beginning of this campaign is true. I wish I could have done more for my friend. As I looked into the situation in which we find many of our veterans, I was appalled. I began to look for ways I could make a difference. That is how this project came about. I did not previously realize the extent to which the men and women who have served our country are homeless. The really striking fact is the number of homeless female veterans. Help me help them. Thank You!
