<p>PeopleTowels’ co-founder, Mary Wallace, was a frequent visitor to Japan and where she learned about the decades-old custom of personal hand towels rather than paper towels in public restrooms. She thought the custom was a brilliant idea and was determined to introduce "B.Y.O.Towel" as an on-the-go, green alternative in the US. Voila - PeopleTowels was born! </p> <p>She and co-founder Linda Lannon with a small group of dedicated individuals are united by a dream and energized by a passionate belief that that every person can have a positive impact on the environment by making small lifestyle changes. At PeopleTowels we all share a common concern for the environment and the effects that deforestation, waste and global warming are having on the planet that our kids will inherit.</p>
