Since 2008, Kimberly has consulted and volunteered on various sustainable development initiatives in Africa and South Asia, seeking to drive impact on social issues in rural communities using media and outreach strategies.</p> <p>Concurrently, Kimberly works in and across the private sector as a leader in global marketing strategy and business development. She has extensive experience with creating and managing corporate communication and event strategies.&nbsp;Kimberly earned a Masters from New York University in Global Affairs and holds dual Bachelor degrees in Business Administration and Marketing from Houston Baptist University. Kimberly&rsquo;s dynamic experience in both the private and non-profit sectors&nbsp; allows her to pursue marketing and outreach strategies at Global Forces.</p> <h3>About Global Forces</h3> <p>Global Forces provides solar solutions to students to help eradicate energy poverty. Access to clean energy can foster improved safety for children after dark, safe light sources to study with, which will generate improved health. &nbsp;By working together to provide solar solutions we can generate sustainable opportunities.</p> <p>Global Forces believes in the power of an advocacy network to promote change and that is why we work with partners across the globe who are working towards the <a title="Millennium Development Goals (MGD's)" href="http://www.undp.org/content/undp/en/home/ourwork/environmentandenergy/focus_areas/sustainable-energy.html" target="_blank">Millennium Development Goals (MGD&rsquo;s)</a>. &nbsp;Together we are able to reduce the effects of the energy poverty cycle, provide access to clean energy and provide a stepping stone through which students, families and their communities are able to conquer poverty.</p>
