<p style="margin-left: 30px;"> </p> <p> A Christian Man led by the Holy Spirit, inspired by his Pastor: Reverend Niles R. Wilson (Greater Cornerstone Baptist Church) and supported and encouraged by a wonderful family to create a Christian social network to serve God’s people. </p> <p> Married since 1994 to high school sweetheart, lifetime companion and best friend, Tyra Fields-Gary RN, BSN, MSN and the Father of two incredible boys, David Thomas Clark-Gary and Devin Charles Gary. </p> <p> I have served my country as a United States Marine and currently serve my community as a Police Officer in the City of Newark NJ where I was born and raised. I have devoted all of my adult life to service and now serve God as a faithful member of GREATER CORNERSTONE BAPTIST CHURCH in East Orange NJ, where I am the assistant director of the Security Ministry and a Member of the GREATER CORNERSTONE BAPTIST CHURCH Men’s Ministry and Victory Riders Motorcycle Ministry. </p> <p> In mid 2009 during a Men's Ministry meeting at Greater Cornerstone Baptist Church, our Pastor challenged us to form a Chistian corporation that could be both successful and serve God's kingdom. Over the next few months, after bouncing around several ideas I came up with PraiseBook.com. </p> <p> The idea for this project was born out of the social networking craze and all of the bad press and problems surrounding these sites. Bullying, suicides, divorces, scams, assaults and more! Pastors urging their congregations to stay away from social network sites, Pastors and Churches being persecuted and harassed.</p> <p> As a Police Officer in my full time job for 15 years and a former Detective I have seen numerous examples of how social networking has been used for everything from luring young people into dangerous situations to scamming people out of their life savings.</p> <p> As a Christian Father and Husband, I thought, what better way to bring Christians together, serve God and provide a safe social networking community for all who believe in God, than to create PraiseBook.com!</p> <p> After putting together Team PraiseBook, gathering information and fullfilling all of the legal requirements (PraiseBook.com LLC was formed October 8, 2010), identifing our mission as a Christian company and full of excitement, in November 2010 we launched our first version of the site and met with some success as we gained over 400 members in the first few weeks but we quickly learned that without advertising and proper funding we would not be able to maintain the site.</p> <p> Now that we have done our homework and calculated the cost of such a colossal venture we ask you to help us bring this vision to life with your contributions. </p> <p> Funding will provide operating cost for the site for (2) years and operating cost of an on-line store that will provide discount Christian books, music, clothing, jewelry, gifts, Church supplies and more as well as an advertising campaign which with hard work, Prayer and God's blessing should substain the project into the future.</p> <p style="margin-left: 30px;"> In His service...Che' M.
