Educator at The Academic Advancement Program at the University of California, Los Angeles for over 25 years. My articles on women's history and feminist theory have appeared in journals such as "New Left Review" and "Feminist Studies" and have been anthologized in collections along with writers such as Erich Fromm and Juliet Mitchell. Mia Slavenska was my mother. Maria in the Lily and Maria singing duo of the 1960s. Recorded for Columbia Records. This is my first feature-length documentary.
