Documentaries can make a difference by telling stories that highlight the strength and resilience of the human spirit.

Over a 40-year career, I have produced 80 productions and 13 broadcast documentaries on peace, justice, nuclear, environmental, health and aging issues.  They have aired in 16 countries and won 80 international awards including three Emmy Awards. I have taught Documentary Filmmaking as a college instructor for 20 years.  I believe my docs have made a difference and so will "Going the Distance: Journeys of Recovery." Please check my full bio at <span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: separate; color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: Arial; font-size: 12px; line-height: 15px; "><a href="http://www.dlbfilms.com/dlbbio.html" target="_new" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; text-decoration: none; cursor: pointer; color: rgb(26, 102, 144); ">http://www.dlbfilms.com/dlbbio.html</a></span>.
