Yuval Shapira

A director, creative producer and a visual anthropologist

Yuval Shapira runs the production label Embracing the Embarrassing while being a M.F.A merit fellowship candidate at Emerson College. He completed his B.A. (cum laude) in ‘Amirim’ honors program and M.A. in visual anthropology (cum laude) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He apprenticed for DGA award winning director Noam Murro, worked on the 1st visual anthropology film festival in Israel and screened his movies internationally.
