I am Danco Doll of The Philadelphia Dance Company (PHILADANCO!)

Founded in 1970 by Joan Myers Brown, The Philadelphia Dance Company (PHILADANCO) was created to address the lack of opportunities for professional dancers of color in the Delaware Valley. Since then, PHILADANCO has grown from a small community-based company to an internationally renowned institution that serves more than 50,000 individuals each year through performance, training, education and community engagement activities.
