I was born and raised in Oklahoma under the parents Mark and Gina Helms. Living in the country, I spent most of my time outside, creating stories from my own imagination. When I wasn't tromping through the mud, I was reading or writing. I always knew I wanted to be a writer. But at the age of 12, I began working with film and I realized just how powerful a story-telling tool it is. From here on, I don't know what comes next, but I hope whatever it is, I don't disappoint.
