Driven young composition student, starving artist is enough for me

Tori Ovel is a junior composition student at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. Hailing from Waterloo, Iowa, it would appear that she does not travel much. Fortunately she has been granted the opportunity to voyage through three composition workshops this summer. She has studied composition under Dr. Jonathan Schwabe, and currently is kept in line by Dr. Alan Schmitz. Originally a saxophonist, she plays tenor sax in the University’s second jazz band. Music is her passion and joy.
