Jon Simsic

Music Director, The Salem Youth Chorus

Jon is organist and choirmaster of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Canton, OH, founder of the Salem Youth Chorus and a former Chorus Master/Asst. Conductor of the Youngstown Symphony. Jon is also a composer and his anthem Harvest Hymn for chorus and organ was the 2008 grand prize winner for the Royal School of Church Music Choral Competition. As part of the award, Harvest Hymn was premiered at Salisbury Cathedral in England in Nov. of 2009.
