Susan Thixton has published the website TruthaboutPetFood.com since 2006. She is the author of the tell all book Buyer Beware and co-authored the pet food cookbook Dinner Pawsible. In 2013 she helped develop the pet food consumer association - Association for Truth in Pet Food (ATPF) - providing pet food consumers a voice in the regulatory process. Through her work ATPF has been provided advisory positions at AAFCO and is recognized by FDA as the consumer voice.
