Jennie Allen's background as a mental health counselor provided excellent preparation for filmmaking. She co-wrote the feature film "Failing Better Now," wrote and directed a couple of shorts, and is currently finishing her MFA at Columbia University where she also teaches Screenwriting. The moose is Jennie's spirit animal: it's at once regal and ridiculous.
