Formerly known as DC Desi Summer, East Coast Solidarity Summer (ECSS) is a weekend-long (Aug 8-10, 2014 in NYC) leadership and empowerment program for 15-21 years olds of South Asian and Desi heritage who are passionate about social justice. Spearheaded by the volunteer ECSS Collective, our summer program provides a radical and inclusive space for youth of South Asian heritage (including those of mixed heritage) to examine key social justice issues and take action!
