Biologist and Conservationist
<p>Ditte Dahl Lisbjerg has been engaged in conservation in East Africa since 1997, where she first made field trips to the Tanzanian rainforests to study the behavior of the Red Colobus monkey- a species on the IUCN red-list.</p> <p>In 2006-7 she was project and financial manager for the Witu-expedition to the Witu Forest Reserve near the Tana River Delta by the Kenyan coast. The project was financed primarily by the Critical Ecosystems Partnership Fund under Conservation International and the project was carried out in collaboration with Kipini Wildlife and Botanical Conservancy, Kenya Wildlife Service and Nature Kenya.</p> <p>Since 2010 she has worked with Niels Mogensen in support for the Mara-Naboisho Lion Project. </p>
