Fundraiser

Former Massage, Craniosacral, Lymphatic Drainage Therapist and Reiki Practitioner, Sarah Lamando has recently been spending all of her time in a tireless effort to fundraise for Inanna House; an Organization and Healing Facility for Chronic Lyme Disease sufferers that she is fiercly fighting to see built. Her own battle with Chronic Lyme Disease has forced her to reconsider her priorities, and has changed the way she plans on living her future life once she has recovered.

She has lauched her own blog called, "A Slice of Lyme" in an effort to raise awareness of this devestating disease, and has become a "Jack of All Trades" in an effort to afford her medical expenses.

While she used to be very physically active, having a deep passion for hiking, horseback riding, volleyball, and yoga, she now spends most of her time learning how to paint, create jewelry, and crochet pretty much anything (using 100% reclaimed material of course!) in order to help supplement her limited disability income. She has a keen eye for Photography, and a photograph of hers is currently being published in an upcoming book called "146 Poems of Love"; a project created by Amber Morris to benefit the 146.Org Foundation that rescues, rehabilitates and supports victims of child slavery.

She CANNOT WAIT to get back to her old self and become involved in the healing arts again, but even after that day comes, and she is fully recovered, she will always remain a staunch advocate for the CLD Community

She is well-written, and hopes one day to publish her own book, sharing within it her own experiences of this illness, but most importantly, her recovery from it.
