John Mitchell is a Toronto based writer/director best known as one of the creators and early writers of "The Drowsy Chaperone" (originating the role of "The Groom"), which went on to win 5 Tony Awards on Broadway. John began his career as one half of the cult 90's musical comedy duo "Brock & John", then spent 2 years at the Second City Toronto. He is currently in post-production for his first feature film (with Christina Zeidler), the romantic comedy "Portrait of a Serial Monogamist".
