In 2012 I initiated work in South Africa to "upcycle" an old dumping site into the home of the Trash to Treasure Festivals. I am currently building my organization Upcycle Santa Fe in New Mexico which will work to develop zero waste systems that recognize and utilize trash for what it truly is: an educational opportunity and valuable resource. I am passionate about showing people how they can use their waste materials to better their communities.
