5-piece Indie Pop band from Kansas City.

Since 2011, Avenue 17 has played alongside Akkilles, Fight the Quiet, Mad Libby, Skyhawk Drive, and Sweet Ascent. The band has been described as "...the surprise of the night, with energetic power pop in the vein of Arctic Monkeys or Tokyo Police Club" - Chris Flenker. The group is back in the studio writing and recording their second EP, 'These Lights Point North', expected to release in early 2014.
