<p>Hi there!</p> <p>My name is Anna, and I joined Indiegogo because I want to share with the world some of the amazing things, that is going on here in El Salvador.</p> <p>I'm originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, but I moved to El Salvador, because I wanted to help out at the Permaculture Institute of El Salvador.&nbsp;</p> <p>In September this year they are celebrating their 10th year of working with permaculture education in poor, rural El Salvador. This is a very paradoxical time. On one hand the economic crisis has taken its toll and fundraising is harder than ever. On the other hand the institute is getting more recognition than ever - from the government, NGO's from all over the world and from UN agencies.</p> <p>There's no doubt about the change that they're making and the future of the Salvadorian subsistence farmers is looking very bright. But right at this tipping point, they need their supporters to push them over the edge. And they need all the help they can get. Not just through donations, but it's just as important to help spread the positive message of permaculture as a way of dealing with climate change, food security, etc.</p> <p>I'm looking forward to sending you all updates on IPES and their work throughout the next three months!</p> <p>Thanks for your help!</p>
