Brendan Petersen has been making independent films since 2009. He started out making sci-fi and stop motion experimental short films. And he created a YouTube channel to showcase these works. Since then, said YouTube channel has now reached over 230,000 views and over 300 subscribers. Darkslide Pictures was formed in 2014. In 2016 the studio's first feature length film Darkslide was released. Paper Wasps is the studio's second feature length thriller which will be released on Halloween 2017!
