<p>Mike Ratel is a longtime super 8 filmmaker shooting bands and assorted weirdness during his travels from San Francisco to Prague. In 2003 he teamed with Smithereens front man Pat DiNizio to shoot King Leisure S.O.B, a tale of a washed up rocker who reinvents himself as an angry, white, middle class, middle aged rapper. In 2007 he began research on On Your Mark, Get Set, <span class="caps">MOW</span>!, a tale of hope, redemption, and lawn mower racing.</p>
