Jamila Hammami

Jamila has her Community Organizing MSW from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Previously the Program Director for the Alternative to Detention Program the Post- Release Empowerment Project before it became defunded, she saw a need for post- release services for the queer, trans, and HIV+ population and their families. So she began grassroots fundraising, organizing, and case management services for clients in need.
