<p>I have been a researcher, writer and editor for most of my career. I started writing novels in 2011 and quickly realized I have a wealth of information about many health and social issues that can be shared through fiction. Apparently, the writing muses heard me and now, in one year, I have written three full-length novels and have a very active blog site featuring my growing network of fellow authors.</p> <p>My daughter is also a published author and is working on a non-fiction book about flying in the Canada's high Arctic. Her first book - For the Love of Flying: The Story of Laurentian Air Services - is already in its second printing. Danielle Metcalfe-Chenail was named 2011 Maverick of the Year by Canada's Chateleine magazine, Canada's largest circulation magazine.
