Dr. Guneeta Singh Bhalla recently completed her tenure as a postdoctoral researcher in the field of condensed matter physics at the University of California in Berkeley and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. She specialized in studying quantum confinement at interfaces in oxides. She is the founder and executive director of The 1947 Partition Archive, which she was inspired to build after a 2008 visit to the oral testimony archives at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial in Japan.
