<p>My name is Christopher Lee Martin and I received my BFA degree from Pratt Institute in 2003. Since graduation, I have relocated to Dallas, TX and have been pursuing a career as a fine artist. It wasn’t until recently that I realized that I have other passions besides just art such as a passion for animals, specifically pets, so I plan to start ChrislmArt, a unique pet art business. Because I have had several pets, I am aware of the short time they are with us, and I want to help pet owners preserve their pet memories forever.</p> <p> Also, I believe it is important to foster a love and respect for all animals. On the local news, there are too many reports about the abuse and neglect of animals, and many go unreported. You can help me raise the awareness for no kill animal shelters like Operation Kindness here in the North Texas area and Utopia Rescue Ranch in Kerrville, Texas by helping them to grow and expand through educating people of the benefits of caring for these special creatures. By fostering a healthy place for animals to live until they can be adopted by someone who loves and cares for them, we show our true humanity. I will, as my business grows, look to promote this type of organization both nationally and internationally as well.</p>
