My name is Nelson Nio, and I have been teaching self defense exclusively for women and girls for the past 10 years. The training has been received well by women in various groups. In the past 5 years, over 10,000 women have come to my classes. SHIELD has been taught for LA Co Office of Women's Health, UCLA Spirit Squad, Santa Monica Police Activities League, FOX Studios, LA Co Dept of Public Health and various other groups.
