<p class="western"><span style="font-family: Arial,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">I'm a professional filmmaker, writer and ecstatic dance facilitator. I started making films when was 14 years old, and haven't looked back since! I went to film school, came out the other side and gradually worked my way up from promotional films to broadcast docs, from current affairs to travel docs. <br /></span></span></p> <p class="western"><span style="font-family: Arial,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">In 2008 i had a healthy and very early midlife crisis! I let go of filmmaking for a while, embraced my writing, and dove deeply into Ecstatic Dance, which i then started to offer to the public. People seemed to love it and kept coming back for more! </span></span></p> <p class="western"><span style="font-family: Arial,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">I returned to filmmaking in a new way, with the resolution that i would only create positive media that i believed in. Last year I completed my first feature documentary &lsquo;Tibet Meditation&rsquo; &ndash; a meditative filmic journey through Tibet (its currently being contracted for international distribution). </span></span></p> <p class="western"><span style="font-family: Arial,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">My new book about Ecstatic Dance, 'The Way of Ecstasy' will be published by a leading spiritual publisher next year.</span></span></p> <p class="western"><span style="font-family: Arial,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><br />Tantra for me is something i discovered 'by accident' with my lover at the age of 21. Last year i came to realise that what i am exploring in Ecstatic Dance - the paths to ecstatic living and altered states of consciousness - has a big overlap with what Tantra is looking at. Meeting Shashi at The Sanctuary provided the inspiration that sparked the idea for this film - and now we are nearly finished with the filming!&nbsp; <br /></span></span></p> <p class="western"><span style="font-family: Arial,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span></span></p>
