Friends of April Hill Park was founded as an all-volunteer group in 2005, in partnership with Portland Parks & Recreation. Since that time, Friends of April Hill Park have served as the stewards of the wetland and natural area. We've held work parties, taught local youth about this area, and helped Portland Parks & Recreation improve management of the natural area. When our fundraising is complete, we'll be ready to move forward on a boardwalk project that has been planned since 2010.
