Why I started CodeChix and what it means to me
I started CodeChix in my living room in 2009 because I couldn't find any other group that did what I was looking for - a community for female developers without restrictions of language, OS, technology or industry. I wanted a community with an intersection of smart women who were into geek feminism, independence, building cool gadgets/apps and leading our communities in order to make a difference from the status quo.
