Joanna Sherman

Joanna Sherman has directed and taught internationally, and is a frequent speaker on the role of the arts in peacebuilding. She is currently conducting theatre programs in Afghanistan bringing informational theatre to women, and has participated in projects in Asia, Eastern Europe, South America, and the Middle East, working in disadvantaged communities and collaborating with local artists. She has been featured on CNN, BBC, NPR, Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, and American Theatre.
