Started in software in the early 90s, and soon decided that my career should focus on Free software. In the 2000s I worked full time with the community as a developer, helped run Free software non-profits, spoke at conferences around the world, appeared on a variety of shows and in magazines, wrote for various publications ... essentially kept extremely busy. (I once managed to fill a passport in just 2 years.) Why? The world needs free software to ensure free societies. This is my passion.
