Charles O'Hay

Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, United States

It is the job of the poet to make us nostalgic for the present.

I have been writing since 1987 and have published poems in over 100 literary journals, including West Branch, Mudfish, New York Quarterly, Gargoyle, South Carolina Review, Cortland Review, and Painted Bride Quarterly. I was the recipient of a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Fellowship in Poetry in 1995. "Far from Luck" (Lucky Bat Books) is my first collection of work, and includes both poems and photographs.
