My philosophy is you can get just as much work done (or as little) while having a good time as you can without, so might as well laugh while you live and laugh while you learn.&nbsp; (At least that's what I told my teachers who thought me a bit odd!)&nbsp; But now you can laugh and learn in the comfort of your own home.&nbsp; Phooey on those humorless teachers!&nbsp; <br><br>I grew up in theater (mostly because I couldn't find my way home from all those backstage corridors!&nbsp; Boy, is it confusing back there!)<br><br>Then paid my way through UCLA film school by delivering 4000 singing, tap-dancing telegrams.&nbsp; No, I'm not kidding.&nbsp; Would I make something like that up?<br><br>Managed to get into the Assistant Directors Training program for Film (they choose a dozen out of about 1200 applicants- yahoo!), and was an Assistant Director for more years than many of you have been alive -- but fun stuff!&nbsp; "Six Feet Under," "Driving Miss Daisy," "Amazing Stories," "Steel Magnolias," "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion," "Inherit the Wind" (with George C. Scott and Jack Lemmon!), yada yada.&nbsp; Started directing a few years ago -- made several award-winning short films, directed my first feature film "Next of Kin" recently, and now I bring all this zaniness to the world of signing.&nbsp; Hey, I'm learning along with the rest of you!&nbsp; It really IS fun!<br>
