Ellen Miller-Goins

Red River, United States

Love of outdoor sports all year long

I have lived in Red River, New Mexico, since I was two years old. My parents, John and Judy Miller, owned Powder Puff Mountain, a now defunct beginner ski area, in the ’70s. In 1985, with my help, they founded and developed the Enchanted Forest Cross Country Ski Area. The duo are members of the New Mexico Ski Hall of Fame. I also own and operate the online Sangre de Cristo Chronicle newspaper.
