<BR> <P>Doua Moua is a New York City based actor and writer. He Graduated from Marymount Manhattan College and has been in many film, television, and theatre productions.<BR><BR>Moua is best known for his mean and evil role as Fong/Spider in Clint Eastwood's 2008 film "Gran Torino". The New York Times thought his performance was "Well acted... on film an evil and menacing person, but in real life the nicest and humblest guy." The Star Tribune called Moua "A Star in the making."<BR><BR>Other films on Moua's resume include "Don't Whistle", which won best picture at Fargo Film Festival, and LALO, winner of best film at NY Latin Film Festival. He also performed in Hilary Swanks' production company's "Resolve", "Uncertainty", which was distributed by IFC, and "<A href="http://www.imdb.com/search/name?bio=Prison"><U><FONT color=#136cb2>Prison</FONT></U></A>ers", which was selected in various film festivals. Moua also appeared in M. Night Shyamalan's "The Last Airbender".<BR><BR>As a young actor he has had the privilege of creating various roles such as the role of Hong in "King's Man" opposite Joe Estevez, where he played a woman/transvestite. His last film was National Lampoon's "Dirty Movie" starring Christopher Meloni (Law in Order: SVU) and Mario Cantone (Sex in the City).<BR><BR>Moua has also appeared in an array of Television programs. He appeared in Comedy Central's "Michael &amp; Michael Have Issues", Nickelodeon's "The Naked Brothers Band", ABC's "One Life to Live", The Sundance Channel's "The Captive", and CBS's "Blue Bloods" with Donnie Wahlberg and Tom Selleck.<BR><BR>Moua has also performed in many Off-<A href="http://www.imdb.com/search/name?bio=Broadway"><U><FONT color=#136cb2>Broadway</FONT></U></A> and Off-Off <A href="http://www.imdb.com/search/name?bio=Broadway"><U><FONT color=#136cb2>Broadway</FONT></U></A> productions, his last being Richard Greenberg's play "Take Me Out" where he played the role of Takeshi Kawabata, for which he received good reviews and was singled out by the NY Post for giving a "Terrific" performance.<BR><BR>As an emerging young writer, Moua has received much praise for the vivid imagery and dialogue of his work. "The Harvest" had the privilege of being read at various universities including Yale, NYU and Rutgers University . He has several other feature scripts in development, as well.</P>
