La Vann is an award winning Documentary Director. La Vann graduated with a M.F.A. at City College where she produced film "110 Morningside" featuring legendary Last Poet, Abiodun Oyewole. La Vann's work concentrates on social stories rarely heard in mainstream media it is her passion to document the lives of people of color without any restrictions. La Vann is a documentarian of Black & Latino experiences sharing stories that will inspire the youth for positive change.
