I am married with a grown son, two step daughters and I just graduated with a BA degree in Sociology from NSU on December 10, 2011.&nbsp; I have a beautiful little granddaughter Destiny who I raised since she was 2 weeks old who lives in Wilmington, NC.&nbsp; I have another grandchild who lives with her aunt in Portsmouth, VA that is 3 years old.<br><br>I sing in my church choir located in Chesapeake, Virginia named "The Mount"&nbsp; known as Mount Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church where the&nbsp; Bishop Kim W. Brown and his lovely wife Elder Valerie K. Brown are the leaders of this church.&nbsp; <br><br>I help everyone and I feel that God has led me in this season to help my granddaughter at this time.&nbsp; Destiny is my first grandchild and I promised that when she was born I would do everything to protect her and make sure that she has a happy healthy life.&nbsp; She is living with a single mother 45 year old and her 17 year old son currently who works as an assistant school teacher in an elementary school.&nbsp; I want dearly for my granddaughter to come and live with me since she cannot go back to live with her mother at this time.&nbsp; I have a good marriage and stable home life here in Elizabeth City, NC and no harm shall come to our granddaughter.&nbsp; She will be protected at all times and living in a household with people who care about her well being.&nbsp; I am asking the community to please help assist us in getting the money together so that we can obtain a lawyer to start the process of getting her adopted to us.&nbsp; Please help us make this dream a reality.&nbsp; Thank you and God bless everyone who can help.<br>
