Sussan Deyhim

Sussan Deyhim is an Iranian composer, vocalist and performance artist.

As an Iranian-born composer, vocalist, and performance artist, I actually began my career as a ballet dancer in Tehran during my teens before moving to Brussels and eventually New York in the 1980s. There, my practice expanded to encompass dance, experimental theater, electronic music, performance art, conceptual media, sound installations, and scoring for film. The exploration of the powerful synergy among these diverse artistic modes of expression is currently what interests me most.
