I was born again when I saw my work published for the first time. I felt like a fully accomplished (although pennyless) comic book writer. Ever since then I haven’t stopped writing. Comics helped me regain hope… What is hope in the end? An abstract concept or rather the force that prevent us from languishing in a situation in which our success is never guaranteed? I would venture to say that hope is also this: creation. And creating comic books has given new meaning (and hope) to my life.
