Michael Maize

A character actor in pursuit of working on strong, challenging projects.

<p>A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Michael Maize received a <span class="caps">BFA</span> degree in theater from Millikin University. With plans for a career on the New York stage, Maize spent his first summer out of school performing summer stock at The Great American Melodrama Theater in San Luis Obispo, CA. The attraction of Los Angeles proved strong, however, and before long Michael was booking roles in film and television productions regularly.<br> Michael played opposite Ed Harris and Helen Mirren in <span class="caps">NATIONAL</span> <span class="caps">TREASURE</span> 2: <span class="caps">BOOK</span> OF <span class="caps">SECRETS</span> (Disney) as well as opposite Rosario Dawson in <span class="caps">EAGLE</span> <span class="caps">EYE</span> (Dreamworks), starring Shia LaBeouf. Maize also worked with Whoopi Goldberg in <span class="caps">MORE</span> <span class="caps">DOGS</span> <span class="caps">THAN</span> <span class="caps">BONES</span>.<br> Television appearances include the series finale episode of <span class="caps">WITHOUT</span> A <span class="caps">TRACE</span> opposite Anthony Lapaglia (<span class="caps">CBS</span>), <span class="caps">DARK</span> <span class="caps">BLUE</span> (<span class="caps">TNT</span>), ER (<span class="caps">NBC</span>), <span class="caps">RAINES</span> (<span class="caps">NBC</span>), <span class="caps">CSI</span>: <span class="caps">NEW</span> <span class="caps">YORK</span> (<span class="caps">CBS</span>) , <span class="caps">ANGEL</span> (WB), <span class="caps">CHARMED</span> (WB), <span class="caps">NAVY</span> <span class="caps">NCIS</span> (<span class="caps">CBS</span>), <span class="caps">THE</span> <span class="caps">JAMIE</span> <span class="caps">FOXX</span> <span class="caps">SHOW</span> (WB), and <span class="caps">NUMBERS</span> (<span class="caps">CBS</span>).</p>
