Loving California, but Alaska-bound

I grew up in a small coastal town in Southeast Alaska, and was lucky to tromp around the wilderness of Glacier Bay as a boy. I attended Pomona College in Southern California, and I'm now at Stanford University studying polar oceanography, which has brought me from the Arctic to the Antarctic and back. My dream is to establish a field school at a remote property near my hometown in Alaska.
