Im a Brazilian Ecologist, Anthropologist, activist and documentary filmmaker.  I am passionate about issues of social justice, human rights, the environment, critical social thought, diversity.   I am the founder of Pronesis Institute of Audiovisual and Social Change, a non-profit that is working on projects using audiovisual means to challenge problems of communities and environments.  We are producing diverse documentary films as well as projects to promote these values.  All profits and prizes earned with Institute Pronesis films go to organizations working on the issues represented in our films.
