<p>Lasana Smith is a vivacious television host and dating and relationships expert who has contributed her knowledge and expertise as a freelance writer for the Tyra Banks show online magazine’s “Single and Fierce” blog (http://tyrashow.warnerbros.com/single_fierce/lasana/)and continued its success with her latest blog, “Love and Life” (http://www.loveandlifeblog.com/). She spent over a year researching and conducting focus groups with men and women to gain a better understanding of the question “Is The Single, Modern Woman Having A Difficult Time Finding A Husband?” for her Master’s thesis in Communication Management. Currently, Lasana is in the process of authoring her first book on dating.</p> <p>As a host, she covers a broad range of topics including: entertainment, pop culture, celebrities, music, movies, dating and relationships, technology, travel, and lifestyle among several other areas. Most recently, she was a correspondent for Trojan Vision’s (TV8) entertainment show, “Take 5” in which she interviewed A list actors, directors and celebrities during press junkets and on the red carpet. She was also the host for Trojan Vision’s talk show “CU@USC” interviewing several celebrities and notables in Los Angeles.</p> <p>In addition, Lasana has hosted several live events internationally including Radio One’s Women’s Empowerment Expo, Starlink Entertainment’s Sophisticated Soul Monthly Music Showcase, NetworkShops entertainment panels and Atlantic Records Fundraiser for Lifebeat just to name a few, allowing her to hone strong interviewing and great audience interaction skills. She has also acted in several independent movies and has been a print model with New York City’s Gilla Roos modeling agency.</p> <p>Because of her strong commitment to giving back to her community, Lasana volunteers her time at community organizations such as The Grammy Foundation, Kids for Kids-Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric <span class="caps">AIDS</span> foundation and the Youth Build and <span class="caps">SOBRO</span> organizations where she has delivered passionate messages of encouragement and inspiration to youngsters. Her personality and experience brings added value and credibility to various media forms and special events including: television and web series, film, corporate events, live entertainment and advertising campaigns.</p>
