I am a chiropractor in the Chicago area. I have been practicing for almost 25 years. Although I love my job I can't see my self doing it forever, the job is physically demanding.  I love the patient care aspect (not the paper work) and would like to Start Something That Matters, that can also help people.  I am a runner and leukemia survivor. I have a husband two kids and two dogs (one is a rescue) I had a stem cell transplant in 2001 and have been in remission since 2003.  Doing something like this is out of my comfort zone--to ask people for money--but, "nothing ventured, nothing gained".   There is nothing to stop me but fear. So here  I go...What"s life without a little risk?
