imawellness™ was first created by a woman with an enormous heart for service - our wonderfully kind founder, Cala. Cala’s mother-in-law was diagnosed with cancer and undergoing chemotherapy, which greatly disrupted her digestive system. She had a sweet tooth and not much of an appetite, paired with constipation and general stomach malaise and so Cala’s mission began. Cala wanted to create a recipe that would satisfy her mother-in-law’s sweet tooth without cancer-feeding sugars.
