David is an active member of the ensemble-based company, At Play Productions, where he has directed plays by Mike Lew, Laura Jaqmin and Josh Koenigsburg. David served as the Associate Artistic Director of Gateway Playhouse in Bellport, New York. As an Associate Director, David has worked with Doug Hughes, Thomas Kail, Walter Bobbie, Eric Schaeffer, Des McAnuff and Philip Wm. McKinley on Broadway, off-Broadway, regionally and internationally. Selected assistant credits include <em>Lombardi</em>, <em>Million Dollar Quartet</em>, <em>A Man For All Seasons</em> (Broadway), <em>Farragut North</em> (Atlantic Theater Company), <em>The Marriage of Bette and Boo</em> (Roundabout Theatre Company), <em>The Wiz</em> and <em>Fanny</em> (City Center Encores!), <em>Irving Berlin’s White Christmas</em> (12 productions nationally, including 2 on Broadway), <em>Ben Hur Live</em> (International Tour), Ringling Bros. and Barnum &amp; Bailey’s Circus (Gold Unit 2007), <em>Nerds</em> (Philadelphia Theater Company), <em>Most Happy Fella</em> (New York City Opera), <em>The Wiz</em> and <em>Zhivago</em> (LaJolla Playhouse). Recipient of a 2005 Stage Directors and Choreographers’ Foundation Observership Grant.</p>
