I teach Writing for Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland. My friends and I invented the poetry game in the 1990s and since the I have played it in dozens of venues . I am blown away by the power of this game to foster creativity and community. My fabulous students have take the idea of the game and made it into a real product that can be used by others, and added Yiddish and Arabic versions. I am also writing a novel and a book about international volunteering.
